2024-2025 Registration
Welcome to the 2024-2025 season of Cape Breton West Minor Hockey
This year we will again be using the HCR Spordle system for our registrations. You have 2 options for registration – Competitive and Recreation. If your player intends to try out for a Competitive team in U9 Advancing, U11 AA/A, U13 AAA/A, U15 AA/A, or U18 AA/A please use the Competitive Teams registration path. If your player intends to play locally on a Recreation B or C team please choose the Recreation Teams registration path.
During registration you will have the option to enroll in our Preseason Development sessions. These are 3 x 1 hour ice times for U9 to U18 held in Port Hood during September, each run by the Tier 1 head coach for that age group. The cost is $30/player.
Goalies in U11 and up will also have the option to enroll in our 10 Goalie Clinic sessions, once again led by Adam Tkacz in Port Hood on Monday nights. The cost is $200/goalie.
Players new to U15 and checking will have the option to enroll in our Checking Clinic. This is a mandatory clinic for anyone who wants to try out for a U15 Competitive team that hasn’t previously completed the clinic. This 3 hour session is on September 11 in Port Hood and costs $50/player.
Once you’ve completed registration for your family you will receive an invoice via email.
New this season! If you are registering 3 or more players for Competitive evaluations you will receive a $25 discount for each child starting with the 3rd. Competitive evaluation fees will increase by $25 on September 1st so be sure to register early.
Registration fees for Competitive Team Evaluations (Tryouts), Preseason Development, Checking Clinic, and Goalie Clinics will be charged by CBWMH and must be paid by credit card before the first ice time.
Registration fees for Recreation teams at the B and C level will be charged directly by the local Association. Registration fees for Competitive teams at the AAA, AA, A, and U9 Advancing level will be charged directly by the team.
